Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam
  • Seaweed sheets
  • 3 green onions
  • Soy sauce
  • Lemon juice
  • Rice vinegar
  • Crispy onion oil
  • Honey
  • Sesame oil
  • White rice
  • Furikake

Instructions

  1. Prepare rice in rice cooker as directed.
  2. Cut the Spam into slices.
  3. Fry the Spam until browned.
  4. While the Spam is cooking, prepare the sauce by combining, soy sauce, rice vinegar, green onions, lemon juice, onion oil. sesame oil, and honey.
  5. Cut the seaweed sheets vertically into fourths. Set aside.
  6. Once the Spam is browned, coat the Spam in the sauce.
  7. Season the rice with rice vinegar and furikake.
  8. Using a stolen dish, place a seaweed strip and shape the rice into a small block.
  9. Place the Spam onto the rice. Using the leftover sauce in the pan, seal the seaweed strip over the entire musubi.
  10. Once assembled, place the musubi in a casserole dish and drizzle any leftover sauce over the entirety.
