Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/3 gallon of whole milk
  • 1 lb block of Velveeta
  • 2 lbs macaroni noodles
  • 1 lb shredded cheese
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ancho Chili Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a large pot, melt butter on medium high heat.
  3. Slowly mix in flour until completely combined.
  4. While mixing, add in milk, and Velveeta. Mixing until fully melted and combined.
  5. While waiting for the cheese mixture to melt, cook noodles as directed. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the cheese mixture is fully combined, mix in desired spices.
  7. Add noodles into cheese mixture and ensure saturation. More liquid is better because it will thicken with time.
  8. Pour mac and cheese into a casserole dish. Cover top of casserole with shredded cheese.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese has browned.
